General Purpose of the Job The Salesforce Sr. Technical Lead is responsible for overseeing design, delivery, optimization of DaVita Scheduling Application system built on Salesforce platform. This role requires strong technical background in Salesforce, data management and integrations with a focus on delivering high-quality, secure and scalable solutions. The Salesforce Sr. Technical Lead will serve as the technical subject matter expert for Salesforce Platform and DaVita Scheduling Application, and will also work closely with key stakeholders/business partners and cross‑functional teams in DaVita.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities New Feature Development – Requirements, Design, Development and Support
Lead technical requirements gathering sessions and help translate business requirements into Salesforce technical specifications
Understand the business functional requirements and provide the feasibility study of the requirements from Salesforce Platform perspective
Partner with related Feature Teams/ Integration Teams for designing scalable solutions
Prepare High Level Design Document for the business requirements and host the design review sessions
Partner with project stakeholders and provide required support
Closely work with Development team for resolving their queries and questions
Maintain integration diagrams for each Salesforce Org to all connected applications/environments
Contribute in all the phases of the execution including planning, design, development, QA, UAT and Production Support
Implement and follow best Salesforce and Industry practices in design, coding and implementation
Proactive Monitoring, Health Dashboards
Prepare and maintain application health dashboard and monitoring for proactive issues identification
Proactively set up Monitoring for existing integration feeds for issues impacting Salesforce (regardless of source) and help in resolution of these issues
Identify opportunities for improvements (stability, scale, speed) and implement projects to recognize these gains Analyze the existing application and continuously work towards enhancing the overall application and performance
Develop key features and provide required production issues support and resolution on need basis
Host and run war room sessions from technical side with team for priority delivery items and production incidents
Provide required support and expertise in the areas of Salesforce Environment setups and deployments
Ensure application is scalable and support performance and load testing efforts
Continuous Improvements Using Emerging Technology
Continuously upgrade personal skill set to learn about new Salesforce Features like Agentic AI Implementations, Data Cloud 360, etc.
Proactively come up with the improvement ideas in current application using the newer Salesforce released Features (e.g., Agentic AI Use Cases)
Analyze and identify opportunities to make application more scalable and robust
Analyze Current Application, Workflow and identify and suggest the Automation opportunity
Education and Experience
Associate’s Degree or Apprenticeship (required)
10+ years’ experience in Salesforce data solutions
Specialized Experience, Education, Training, or Qualifications
Expertise in APEX, Visualforce and SOQL, Salesforce lightning framework
Strong working knowledge and expertise in databases and SQL
Expertise in modern integration protocols including REST, SOAP, FHIR, Kafka
Expertise in working with integration toolsets – FUSE, Denodo
Prior experience in Java, .Net or any other open source frameworks is a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to lead technical teams and provide guidance and support to other developers both within and outside the Salesforce ecosystem
Experience working in Onshore–Offshore team environment
Expertise in debugging through logs and identifying production issues
Certifications
Salesforce Platform Developer I (required)
Salesforce Field Service Consultant (required)
Salesforce Integration Architect (preferred)
