Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced RF Optimization Engineer with 7-10 years of hands‑on experience in optimizing LTE and 5G networks. The ideal candidate will have in‑depth knowledge of 5G networks, including VoNR and standalone architectures, and will play a critical role in enhancing network performance through data‑driven optimization, troubleshooting, and collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, analyze, and utilize hourly and daily service measurement data to optimize LTE and 5G network performance.
Lead and represent the team in feature projects, new node integration, and other centralized network tasks, ensuring timely deliverables and accountability.
Independently troubleshoot hardware and performance issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams as necessary.
Support network performance by evaluating coverage gaps and identifying system performance challenges.
Report issues clearly and promptly to appropriate engineering teams.
Resolve customer service issues related to network performance and assist in implementing effective solutions.
Collect and analyze drive test data to support performance evaluations and prioritize network build programs.
Must-Have Skills:
Deep understanding of 5G network technologies, including VoNR and standalone (SA) network architectures.
Strong experience with DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) and in‑building coverage solutions.
Desired Skills:
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Shell for automation and data analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred.
7-10 years of relevant experience in LTE and 5G network optimization and performance management.
