Responsibilities

Perform threat assessments, correlate threat data, and deliver Risk to Mission Assessments.

Identify, track, and predict cyber threats and exploit vulnerabilities in an organization's digital assets.

Analyze cyber threat data and intelligence to understand the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by threat actors.

Provide actionable intelligence to stakeholders and decision‑makers to mitigate and respond to potential or active threats.

Compile threat intelligence reports that detail the threats, their potential impact, and the recommended mitigation strategies.

Respond to security incidents and coordinate with incident response teams.

Conduct investigations into potential security breaches.

Analyze malware and exploits to understand their behavior and impact.

Collaborate with other security team members to ensure the organization's security measures are effective and up‑to‑date.

Use a variety of technological tools and platforms to collect, analyze, and interpret threat data.

Stay up‑to‑date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and countermeasures.

Provide guidance on security best practices, including incident response and recovery.

Develop strategies and procedures for dealing with future threats.

Provide training on the threat landscape to staff and management.

May supervise others.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.

5+ years of experience in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating cyber threat intelligence. Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and frameworks.

3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or related fields.

3+ years of experience supporting federal cybersecurity initiatives.

Experience with threat intelligence platforms and security information.

Certifications in Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are highly desirable.

Must have an active Top Secret with SCI eligibility.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to interpret and analyze complex threat data.

Strong knowledge of current cybersecurity trends and hacker methodologies.

Proficient in threat intelligence platforms and tools.

Effective communication skills for information between various functional disciplines, as well as strong briefing skills with senior customer and corporate leadership.

Proven leadership skills, including working in a team environment, fostering communication, listening to teammates' concerns, and reconciling internal issues or differences.

Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems and make sound decisions.

Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability.

Good work ethic and active desire to learn.

Skillful time management and organizational skills to set and meet deadlines.

Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Ability to meet minimum clearance requirements.

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Ability to travel up to 10%.
