What You’ll Get To Do Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non‑repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. May be required to perform conformal/corona coating applications for printed circuit boards (PWB).
This position is on‑site, based out of San Diego, CA.
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Able to obtain and maintain security clearance upon hire
U.S. Citizenship required
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
Active DOD clearance
1 year additional education and/or hands‑on experience with printed circuit board assembly and mechanical module assembly
Previous or current certifications in IPC‑610 and/or J‑STD 001
Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, work instructions, and process specifications
Experience maintaining complete production and quality documentation, including traceability records and process logs
Hands‑on experience with conformal coating processes in electronics manufacturing
Past experience in small‑scale chemical mixing and application
Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams to optimize coating operations
Experience with manual dexterity for handling small components and precision tools
