What You’ll Do
Lead and contribute to complex transmission planning projects across a variety of utility clients and regions
Perform steady‑state, transient, and dynamic analysis to ensure system adequacy and compliance with planning standards
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on system upgrades, new interconnections, and NERC‑related initiatives
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical review of planning reports, power flow models, and study results
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and active Professional Engineer (PE) license
8–12 years of transmission planning experience within the utility or consulting space
Proficient in power system analysis tools (e.g., PSS®E, TARA, PSLF, PowerWorld) and familiar with FERC/NERC standards
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present study results to both technical and non‑technical audiences
