is seeking a
Certified Veterinary Technician
or recent Veterinary Technician graduate to join our Purrfect team!
Compensation:
$20–$26/hr, based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials.
Schedule:
Full‑time, 4 × 10‑hour work week with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures.
Perform venipuncture and IVC placement.
Administer subcutaneous fluids, medications, and related care.
Work with all technical staff to ensure hospitalized patients receive optimal care.
Recognize subtle changes in clinical status and communicate with the team.
Discharge patients and provide instructions to clients.
Complete estimates and maintain basic patient records.
Assist with surgical preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and post‑operative care.
Assist with dentistry, I‑131 radioactive thyroid therapy, and other specialized procedures.
Qualifications
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) license or recent Veterinary Technician graduate.
Experience performing procedures and care in a veterinary hospital setting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to recognize changes in patients and respond promptly.
