Location: Titusville, New Jersey, United States.
We are seeking a Device Lifecycle Engineer Co‑Op to join the Device & Primary Container Team within the MSAT organization of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM) in Titusville, NJ. This role supports lifecycle engineering and technical support for device constituents of synthetic combination products in the JJIM network.
Key Responsibilities
Manage well‑documented design change control processes, including assessments, risk analyses and implementation plans.
Maintain detailed documentation demonstrating compliance with regulatory standards, including technical assessment reports.
Lead and support product and process quality improvement and reliability projects.
Serve as the key point of contact for the device area of responsibility.
Qualifications
Co‑Op pursuing a degree in Engineering or Science (Biomedical, Mechanical or Materials Science preferred).
Effective problem‑solving in assessing supplier changes to commercial products within multi‑functional teams.
Excellent organizational and planning skills, capable of balancing multiple priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to respond to complex inquiries from all levels.
Experience in technical writing for device design control.
Awareness of medical device regulatory and quality system requirements.
Intermediate to advanced digital literacy (document management, word processing, spreadsheets, database applications).
Proficiency in English (oral and written).
May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel.
Preferred (but not required)
Experience within a quality system, medical industry or syringe manufacturing/engineering.
Pay Range $23.00/hr to $51.50/hr.
