Job Details Overview

The Full Stack PHP Developer plays a key role in maintaining, modernizing, and enhancing core systems across both legacy and contemporary PHP frameworks. This position involves hands?on work in legacy PHP (5.6) environments as well as modern frameworks such as Laravel, contributing to the organizations transition toward PHP 8+ while delivering new features and optimizing performance. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative Agile environment, working closely with cross?functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions that align with both technical and business objectives. Key Responsibilities

Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain enhancements and new modules within PHP?based systems. Modernization: Work with legacy PHP codebases and actively support the migration to modern frameworks such as Laravel and PHP 8+. Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) and partner with product, design, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high?quality solutions. Troubleshooting: Diagnose, debug, and resolve software issues across the full stack to ensure stability and performance. Optimization: Refactor and optimize existing code and database schemas for scalability, reliability, and efficiency. API Integration: Develop and maintain REST, SOAP, and XML?based APIs to expand platform functionality and ensure seamless integration with external systems. System Support: Enhance and support key systems such as CRM platforms, web and mobile portals, and API frameworks to meet evolving business requirements. Information Security: Follow established security practices to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and privacy of all information assets.

Qualifications

3+ years of PHP and MySQL development experience. Proficiency with legacy PHP (5.6) and modern frameworks (Laravel). Strong understanding of Object?Oriented Programming (OOP). Front?end development experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. Experience with API development and integration (REST, SOAP, XML). Proficiency in Git version control systems. Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments. Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross?functional project execution.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of NGINX, MariaDB + Galera Cluster, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, Couchbase, or Zookeeper. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
