Recruitment Summary
Reporting line: Senior Associate Director, Planning and Analysis, Development for Schools and Units
Role overview: Provides high‑level support for data management, reporting, prospect management, writing, scheduling, travel, and donor‑facing activities for Yale’s School and Unit development teams.
Key responsibilities: Draft internal and external communications; coordinate research on prospects; prepare prospect pool reports; assist with special events; produce ad‑hoc reports; support stewardship functions; perform related administrative tasks.
Required skills: Advanced writing and communication, strong data reporting, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), donor database use (Blackbaud Hopper), confidentiality, organizational and prioritization abilities.
Preferred skills: Experience in a university setting handling confidential information; familiarity with Yale University processes.
Required education and experience: Six years of related work experience with a high‑school level education, or equivalent combination of experience and a bachelor’s degree; or four years of experience with an associate degree.
Work hours: Occasional weekend work required.
