(Booth Advancement: Advancement Services 2). The position provides analytical and reporting support for fundraising and alumni engagement strategies, collaborating with analytics and development colleagues to extract, analyze, and maintain data, perform routine and ad hoc reporting, and ensure data accuracy and consistency across advancement functions. Responsibilities

Develops in-depth knowledge of fields and records in the alumni and donor database and supporting applications; assists with data requests, extracts, and list generation. Maintain the Analytics team’s suite of certified deliverables by auditing and investigating new reporting capabilities for potential enhancements and solutions. Work with the Data Integrity team to create tools and audits supporting data maintenance procedures. Conduct formal and informal trainings on the database and supporting applications to advance data literacy among team members. Ensure compliance with University data governance policies across tasks and projects. Develop and maintain appropriate process documentation and materials as required. Provide administrative support for the Analytics and Data Science team to ensure efficient team performance. Develop, maintain, and update information on new and existing prospects, solving problems as they arise. May provide guidance to analysts and train staff on fundraising, report writing, and research. Perform other related work as needed. Qualifications

Education Minimum qualifications include a college or university degree in a related field. Work Experience Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 2–5 years of work experience in a related job discipline. Certifications Preferred Qualifications Education and Experience (Preferred)

Bachelor’s degree. Analyzing and combining data sets and producing clear, informative reports and presentations. Technical Skills

Background with fundraising databases and reporting tools such as Business Objects, Blackbaud products, or Salesforce. Ability to learn quickly the internal workings of the University and the technology tools available to the Office of Alumni Relations and Development, including the alumni database, Phoenix. Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Preferred Competencies

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data. Ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication, high attention to detail, and excellent organization. Strong commitment to customer service; discretion and confidentiality. Knowledge of current trends in fundraising and alumni relations, including benchmarking and metrics. Working Conditions

Position is expected to work a minimum three days per week in the office. Travel to campus and/or non-campus locations for University business. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required. Application Documents
