Shift:
Monday–Friday, 2pm‑11pm (training: 10am‑7pm)
Overview:
Working with Data Center Engineers to handle cabling, network hardware support, patching, testing, and rack & stack operations at client sites.
Role and Responsibilities
Monitor ticket system, assign & complete tickets within SLA.
Audit & document cabling installations and desktop configurations.
Patching, jumpering, and termination of voice & data, copper & fiber cables.
Test & troubleshoot copper & fiber infrastructure using modern testers.
Power down, disconnect, and wipe desktop equipment; document inventory.
Install & test analog, digital & VOIP handsets; provide headset support.
Build, rack & stack server and network hardware in data center halls.
Perform Network hardware break‑fix and third‑party escort operations.
Manage media, including tape library loads and ejects.
Maintain accurate records of stock used and report shortages.
Experience & Qualifications
4+ years of fiber & copper voice & data cabling experience.
Knowledge of rack & stack server hardware.
Proficiency with LAN/WAN and Active devices.
Experience with ServiceNow and asset‑management tools.
Skilled in modern hand‑held cable standards testers.
Understanding of IT infrastructure connectivity and data center operations.
Adherence to onsite security protocols.
