Role Responsible for overseeing the continual operation of a specified nursing unit to ensure high‑quality patient care and services. This position demonstrates critical thinking, creativity, and resource management to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines. This role involves coaching, mentoring, and leading a professional and technical team in delivering services to the patient population. Additionally, this position monitors the quality of care delivered to patients, administers medications and treatments as prescribed, and ensures effective stewardship of resources. Responsibilities for this role include acting as a change agent, implementing necessary changes in collaboration with the Manager/Director, and maintaining respectful relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other contacts.
Value
Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs.
Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and address any complications.
Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
Required Qualifications
Associate's of Nursing
Registered Nurse (RN)
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification
A minimum of 1 year of behavioral health experience
