Summary The Account Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service for all internal and external customers by utilizing in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. The position partners with the sales staff to organize and review each job thoroughly, compare the job to the corresponding estimate, prepare the various components for the Production Department, process purchase orders and billing, and maintain open lines of communication between customers, sales, and the plant on all jobs-in-progress.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for both sales and customers on all job related inquiries.

Provide customer service by solving problems, gathering and transmitting information as needed, and ensuring the highest quality product.

Assist in taking job specifications from sales or customers, request estimates, and communicate estimates to sales or customers.

Receive job from sales or customer, compare with estimate, and discuss any differences with customer and sales.

Initiate job ticket and track job through production while communicating any problems and changes to plant personnel, sales, and customers.

Maintain accurate records on all jobs and customer contacts.

Inspect proofs and send to customer; set up press checks with customer if needed.

Assist with other departments on projects and duties.

Follow all safety and workplace policies.

Qualifications

Prefer 2‑year technical/business degree or equivalent.

1–2 years of customer service experience.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required throughout the workday.
