Responsibilities
Development and implementation of comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with established quality standards. Creation and execution of automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools to facilitate early detection of defects and quality issues. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria, ensuring a thorough understanding of the software being tested. Root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed information and support defect resolution. Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations, and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth. Qualifications
Experience with designing and implementing automation frameworks using Java, TestNG, JMeter, and related tools. Experience building and executing test strategies across Functional, Regression, Performance, Security, and End-to-End testing. Experience developing and testing APIs, Microservices, and UI components with technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, GitLab, and related frameworks. Experience working with databases such as Oracle SQL and MySQL to support test data and validation. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include Experience in Strategic Testing Transformation initiatives. Exposure to Cloud platforms. Good knowledge of Release, Deployment, and Change Management (ITIL). This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey. Salary : Minimum $120,000 – Maximum $175,000. The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate and does not include other compensation or benefits that may be available.
