Role Overview As a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional you’ll serve clients with diverse tax needs, building client relationships, preparing accurate tax returns, and supporting the team with training and audit representation.
Responsibilities
Conduct tax interviews face‑to‑face and via virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and other entities.
Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
Provide clients with IRS support and represent them in audit situations when authorized.
Mentor and support teammates and maintain knowledge through the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
Communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
Experience with tax planning and audit support.
Sales and/or marketing experience.
