How You Will Create An Impact
Analyze and process bodily injury and third‑party property damage claims, investigating, gathering information and determining exposure, aiming for prompt and cost‑effective resolution.
Identify and evaluate coverage issues; prepare comprehensive coverage letters and retain coverage counsel as needed.
Assess liability and resolve claims within established guidelines, maintaining diaries and completing tasks on time with clear documentation.
Coordinate vendor referrals for additional investigation or litigation management; calculate and assign reserves and monitor accuracy.
Refer cases as appropriate to supervisor and management; respond to requests professionally and timely.
Attend arbitrations, mediations, settlement conferences and trials.
Complete required State licensing examinations and continuing education.
Communicate with internal partners, including underwriters, to report losses and industry trends.
Partner with TPA Governance and Relationship Management to ensure TPA and Insured compliance with claim handling guidelines.
Work with TPA Claims Financial to verify accuracy of TPA financials against TTPO financials.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
4+ years of General Liability/Auto claims experience.
Experience with complex and high‑exposure GL bodily injury and property damage claims.
Excellent verbal/written communication and strong negotiation skills.
Advanced litigation claims management experience, including ADR and mediation processes for auto/GL exposures.
Strong technical expertise interpreting insurance contracts.
In‑depth knowledge of claim handling procedures, performance strategies and best practices.
Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to champion change initiatives using technology and benchmarking.
Creativity in solving business problems and achieving business goals.

For positions based in Illinois, the base salary range is $84,000 – $111,500 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the incentive plan. In addition, we offer competitive benefits, summarized in the US Benefits Overview.
