Job Description Summary Greystar has an immediate opening for an experienced Leasing Professional. Our team members are high performers that care about customer service and exceed expectations. The Leasing Professional plays a critical role in our success. Greystar is growing and has an upcoming opportunity as a Leasing Professional for a 500+ unit High-Rise in downtown Seattle. This position is responsible for coordinating the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing to new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, and securing resident lease renewals.
What you’ll do
Be part of a team and provide excellent customer service
Conduct prospect building and apartment tours, including virtual and in-person tours
Ensure a stellar move-in experience for customers
Market research on comps for marketing and advertising purposes
Plan and execute community events
Follow up with prospects by phone and email
Utilize social media and internet platforms to market available units
Assist in lease renewals
Respond to resident concerns
What we are looking for
Previous sales and customer service experience desired, but a positive can-do attitude is required
Proficient in MS Office Suite; additional property management software (Yardi/OneSite) desired but not required
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively and complete legal documents, sell and explain apartment features, and answer resident questions
High level of professionalism in both manner and dress

Essential Responsibilities
Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting prospects, conducting tours, processing applications, credit and background checks, preparing the lease and move-in package, and ensuring a smooth move-in and lease signing
Inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate any items with maintenance to ensure move-in readiness
Stay informed about market conditions and develop marketing plans to sustain occupancy
Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals, employer outreach, and online marketing
Use on-site property management software to track availability, traffic, and data
Ensure show units meet company standards and prepare the leasing office for daily activities
Follow up with prospects and residents to confirm lease renewals and satisfaction
Support lease renewal program with timely letters and packages
Respond quickly to resident and client concerns and coordinate resolutions
Required Licenses or Certifications
Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions
Incumbents must have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
Physical Demands
Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods; bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects
Work inside and outside in all weather conditions
Lift up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance
Occasional travel to assist other properties, training, or meetings
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Hourly range: $21.50 - $24.00
Additional Compensation Many factors determine pay within the posted range including experience and location.
Corporate Positions: potential for quarterly or annual bonuses
Onsite Positions: potential for weekly, monthly, or quarterly bonuses
