Position Overview The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a cleared cartographic analyst to support our customer in St. Louis, MO. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience in GIS analysis to support a dynamic national security customer. The successful candidate will work as a member of a government‑contractor team providing cartographic production and analysis. The candidate should have a strong geospatial background and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate on projects.

Security Clearance Position requires a current TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph.

Primary Responsibilities

Work within a government/contractor team environment providing Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production and Review as well as support to existing and developing mission areas.

Perform Digital Nautical Chart and/or Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion production, extracting features from rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data, and ortho‑rectified imagery.

Update source and source catalogs and information, perform data conversion/migration.

Basic Qualifications

High School and 5 years’ relevant military or full‑time geospatial professional experience, or High School and 4 years+ GPC level I & II, or relevant BS degree + 2 years’ experience.

Experience in geography, cartography and GIS, including skill in ArcGIS applications.

Experience creating shapefiles, geo‑databases, and features.

Knowledge of digital cartography, image processing, GIS, geospatial production techniques and NGA digital data formats.

Ability to analyze imagery and non‑imagery source information for application to NGA hydrographic products and databases.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous nautical maritime experience.
