seeks a full‑time Physical Therapist (PT) to provide home health visits in southern Anne Arundel County, MD.
Compensation:
Base pay $57.00–$73.00 per point.
Sign‑On Bonus:
$7,500.
Responsibilities
Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as joint mobility/range, transfer status, stability, patterns of ambulation, muscle strength and endurance, balance testing, and safety assessments.
Implement integumentary protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote wound repair using evidence‑based dressings and topical agents.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
Continuously assess and revise the PT care plan and collaborate with nursing in multidisciplinary care planning.
Educate clients, family members, or other representatives in rehabilitative care and activities to promote health, safety, and independent living.
Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care using a touch‑pad tablet.
Qualifications
Current state license as a Physical Therapist (PT).
Minimum one year of recent PT work experience.
Graduated from an APTA or AMSA‑approved program (as shown by transcript or diploma).
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Solid computer skills; prior EMR experience preferred.
