Under the supervision of the RN provides age-appropriate care. Provide age-appropriate care under RN supervision. Qualifications / Requirements
Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate\'s degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Experience - 2-3 Years ED and/or 2-3 years MD EMT Basic or National Registry EMT and/or Paramedic or Medical Corpsman. Basic computer skills (Occasionally) Communication devices (Frequently) Interpersonal/communication/organizational skills (Frequently) American Heart Association CPR Certification GNA/CNA certificate from the MD Board of Nursing Hospital orientation/training program; or Certified MD EMT; or Paramedic; or National Registry EMT/Paramedic/Medical Corpsman Unit Details
The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center features 17,000 square feet of state-of-the-art design with technology and amenities for emergency care. Patients and visitors will immediately see a larger, brighter space with a comfortable waiting room. Twenty-nine spacious, well-lit private treatment rooms are appointed throughout the space, with the providers’ station positioned front and center. Here, physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists and other clinicians will collaborate to provide a personalized plan of care for each patient. Negative pressure rooms are located in the department, for isolation of infectious diseases such as COVID-19. The new Emergency Department also includes a behavioral health treatment pod for patients in psychiatric or behavioral health crisis. The latest edition CT Scanner—to help with early diagnosis of conditions such as strokes and impending heart attacks—is located within the department. Additional Information
