Sr. Process Chemist – TFF Focus
Position: Sr. Process Chemist with a focus on Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) at Corden Pharma – a Full‑Service CDMO.

Compensation Base pay: $94,218 – $114,599 per year.
Summary Drive and demonstrate the technology for the planning and execution of development and implementation of chemical processes, ensuring the chemistry meets goals for process yields, throughputs, and QSHE requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Familiarity with general TFF/ultra‑filtration setup, operation and components.
Experience with lab and/or mid‑ to large‑scale TFF/ultra‑filtration processing.
Knowledge of various TFF filtration methods and systems.
Understanding of key operating and scalable parameters for TFF/ultra‑filtration and ability to determine them during process familiarization/optimization.
Provide technical support to lab or plant processes.
Work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
Present work orally and in written development reports.
Adhere to GDP and SOPs in all aspects of work.
Plan and execute experiments independently while contributing to project teams toward development of viable commercial processes.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of technical issues and the requirements of a viable manufacturing process.
Execute procedures, processes, and methods for solutions to chemical and technical problems on a lab or plant scale.
Ensure chemistry is capable of meeting cost, yield, throughput, and QSHE goals on assigned processes.
Lead a team to accomplish the development, transfer or implementation of technology at a lab or plant scale.
Develop and support scalable processes and provide technical expertise during lab or plant operations.
Maintain a positive, healthy, and flexible work environment; provide technical expertise to manufacturing.
Personal responsibility for safety and environmental aspects of workplace activities.
Follow cGMP, ICH Q7 and other regulatory requirements to ensure product quality.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Organic Chemistry or related field and 5+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
Experience with TFF/ultra‑filtration; peptide and GMP experience a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced mathematical skills (exponents, logarithms, etc.) for data analysis.
Logical reasoning and ability to apply scientific methods experimentally.
Domestic and international travel required.
Physical Demands & Work Environment Regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, and sit. Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Exposure to fumes, airborne particles and low levels of toxic or caustic chemicals. Moderate noise level. Vision: close, distance, color.

Statistical design of experiments and data analysis.
