Riverside Christian School, a K–8 Seventh-day Adventist school nestled on a beautiful 12-acre wooded campus along the river, is seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and spiritually grounded Finance Manager to oversee the school’s financial operations.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, confidentiality, and professionalism, while contributing to a collaborative and mission-driven team environment.
Details:
Pay: $20-$25/hour
Hours: 12-15 hours/week

Required Experience
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all school financial records using QuickBooks, Excel, and the Google Suite
Process tuition billing, payments, and receipts accurately and promptly
Prepare monthly financial reports for the principal and school board
Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and expense tracking
Coordinate with the Oregon Conference Treasury Department and auditors as needed
Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable
Maintain compliance with SDA and state financial policies and procedures
Ensure strict confidentiality of all financial and personnel information
Support staff with financial communication and reporting needs
Qualifications:
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Google Workspace
Experience with nonprofit or school accounting (preferred)
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a faith-based environment
Commitment to the mission and values of Seventh-day Adventist education
