Responsibilities
Leadership of hotel-wide safety and loss prevention preparedness through development and training of safety-related material.
Partner with HR on all training matters internally and externally.
Identify training and development needs for the entire hotel.
Conduct safety training including OSHA requirements.
Develop and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Coordinate internal and external training for both hotel-wide and departmental programs.
Partner with law enforcement on training including cc fraud, counterfeiting, handcuff training, etc.
Ensure compliance with statutory training and licensure.
Identify and implement specialized training development for all security positions from basic to managerial.
Assist managers in resolving training issues on an individual or group basis.
Produce training materials and manuals.
Maintain spreadsheets of training initiatives including topic, date, and attendance.
Maintain all manuals (FB and Security) per HR and departmental specifications.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws.
Effective supervisory and communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain working relationships with guests, management, and staff.
Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.
License/Certificate
Certified CPR, First Aid, and AED instructor training preferred.
