Experienced Tax Professional , you will serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team and receive advanced tax training to be successful.
What you’ll do
Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
Provide clients with IRS support.
Provide tax notice services (all certification levels).
Audit representation for Circular 230 associates.
Mentor and support teammates.
Complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment as required.
Work in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax and complete individual returns.
Work in a fast-paced environment and with virtual tools (video, phone, chat).
Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
Meet IRS and applicable state requirements; hold a high school diploma or equivalent or higher.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (preferred).
CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (preferred).
Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
Experience with tax planning and audit support.
Sales and/or marketing experience.

Pay Range and Location The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and location.
Pay Range:
$16.50/Hr. - $80.00/Hr.
