The

Salesforce Solution Architect

at Marathon Petroleum (MPC) leads the design and implementation of robust, scalable Salesforce solutions that align technology with business goals. The role serves as a trusted advisor to internal teams and external clients, influencing enterprise architecture and contributing to Salesforce best practices. Candidates will collaborate closely with stakeholders to define requirements, shape solutions, and facilitate enterprise‑scale implementations across multiple cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities

Support architectural governance and compliance, contributing to principles, guidelines, and standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with business objectives and evaluate technology options. Lead design and development of end‑to‑end Salesforce solutions, translating business needs into architectural blueprints. Provide guidance during solution implementation, managing architecture for large‑scope projects and developing roadmaps. Serve as trusted advisor, offering strategic guidance and mentorship to Salesforce professionals. Conduct discovery sessions, develop findings reports, solution roadmaps, and actionable recommendations. Create prototypes and proofs of concept to validate solutions. Design and document robust data models, secure & scalable solutions across Sales, Service, Experience, and Manufacturing Clouds. Oversee configuration, testing, QA, deployment, and release management, including DevOps best practices. Lead or contribute to project planning, scoping, and estimation with cross‑functional teams. Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of relevant architecture experience. Salesforce Solution Architecture Track certifications. Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components. Experience architecting on Experience Cloud and Manufacturing Cloud. Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes. Experience leading large‑scale CRM implementations and data migration/integration activities. Oil and Gas industry experience is a plus. Skills
