We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Security Agent with high integrity and professionalism to join our team in the Bay Area or outside of California.
In this role you will work on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of the Team Leader and Program Managers for our top Silicon Valley clients. You will act as a liaison between Surefox and its clients while providing physical security at their residence, performing all duties in accordance with client policies, procedures, state and federal regulations.
What You Will Do
Develop relationships with clients, facilitating collaboration and influencing across departments.
Track and report on program performance, assurance and compliance requirements.
Manage and monitor surveillance equipment and access points.
Maintain a log of all activity occurring at the residence.
Screen all incoming mail.
Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle while monitoring access.
Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on site.
Contact the police or fire department when emergencies arise.
Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company and/or client property.
Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities.
Provide assistance to employees and create a safe, friendly environment for visitors and clients.
Attend project meetings upon request to assess security implications of proposed changes.
Work independently and adapt to various work‑paces while maintaining high attentiveness and energy.
Be responsible for client and family safety, safeguarding client assets.
Conduct ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments.
Operate motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local emergency services, routes, and points of interest within your area of responsibility.
Operate in a low profile, low footprint capacity.
Follow Residential Security Operating Procedures and Guidelines and comply with Surefox Policy and Procedures.
What Is Required
Eligibility for employment within the United States.
Minimum age of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
Pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
Live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.
Current guard licensure by the State in which services are performed (e.g., BSIS guard card for California) or eligibility to qualify for such licensure.
High school degree or equivalent.
Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
Effective communication skills with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
Good judgment and timely decision‑making.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Pass the Surefox Executive and Residential Physical Agility Test (ERPAT) with or without reasonable accommodation before the start date.
CPR/First Aid/AED certification for all ages.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and valid U.S. passport.
Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
Operational understanding of today’s technology across all platforms.
Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
Ability to legally carry and operate an electronic stun gun device in Nevada.
Fully vaccinated status related to COVID‑19 as defined by CDC and ability to provide proof upon request.
What Is Desired
Security or law enforcement related experience.
Electronic stun gun training.
Completion of the Surefox Residential Security Officer Training Course (RSOTC).
3+ years of previous residential security experience or equivalent certifications, including TECC/TCCC.
Residential Security Operations Certification (RSOC).
Prior attendance of recognized EP training program (ESI, EPI, Oatman, PFC, ITG4, TFTT).
Military background.
Experience working with families and children in high‑net‑worth environments.
International experience.
Compensation: Hourly pay is $44.29, with an approximate annual pay of $100,000‑$120,000.
Hybrid role with security room, security driving, and CONUS/OCONUS travel may vary. Must be tech‑savvy, multitask, radio‑communicate, and have a clean driving record.
