Overview We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our Money Product Data Science Team. This role is focused on growth across Intuit’s consumer lending product. This high‑impact position directly influences product, marketing, and business strategies. As a strategic thought partner, you will lead projects requiring advanced econometric modeling, causal inference, and experimental design. Your insights will guide investment decisions, optimize user journeys, and inform top‑level strategy.

Responsibilities

Define KPIs and success metrics to align projects with company objectives.

Lead causal inference and econometric analysis to understand key growth levers.

Design, implement, and analyze experiments and quasi‑experiments.

Develop predictive models to uncover growth opportunities and support long‑term planning.

Translate complex findings into actionable insights for senior leadership.

Demonstrate boundaryless leadership and extreme accountability, driving outcomes across teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field. Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) desirable.

At least 2 years of experience applying statistical/econometric and modeling skills in decision making.

Expertise in causal inference methods (ex: advanced experimentation, synthetic controls, regression discontinuity, IV) with proven track record.

Experience with machine learning (predictive forecasting, explainable ML, end‑to‑end model pipelines) driving business impact.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver significant results.

Excellent communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.

Proficiency in SQL and a statistical programming language such as Python and/or R.
