Location: Holy Cross Silver Spring, MD
Start Date: Flexible / ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 per week (36 hours for travel positions)
Shift: Day (7 a‑7 p) / 12‑hour shifts
Employment Type: Travel (part‑time)
Pay Range: $71.00 – $76.00 per hour (base salary equivalent). Gross weekly rate: $2,840.00 (based on 12‑hour shifts)
Responsibilities
Float throughout hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and/or regions.
Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans following standard practice elements.
Act independently and appropriately within license, scope of knowledge, and experience in practice area.
Retain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality and improvement practices and outcomes.
Exhibit agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
WOCN – required.
Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
Minimum of 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Telemetry, and PCU.
Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for all other specialties (Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, Behavioral Health).
Required to have and maintain credentials per specialty (e.g., ACLS, TNCC). BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.
