Medical Director (Remote – Occasional Travel to Denver, CO)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm MST
Location:
Fully remote with minimal travel (once per quarter, occasionally monthly)
Base pay range:
$243,300.00/yr - $294,300.00/yr
Overview We’re seeking an experienced
Medical Director
to provide strategic and clinical leadership across behavioral health programs. This role oversees psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and clinical leaders to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise prescribing and clinical leadership teams.
Drive implementation of evidence-based practices including MAT, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction.
Oversee medical evaluations, admissions, and quality reviews.
Ensure compliance with behavioral health and state regulatory standards.
Collaborate across departments to align medical services with organizational strategy.
Support technology and EHR integration for efficient clinical workflows.
Qualifications
MD or DO with unrestricted (or eligible) Colorado medical license.
7+ years of relevant clinical and leadership experience.
Strong background in behavioral health, crisis services, or integrated care.
Compassionate, collaborative, and team-oriented leadership style.
