Senior Engagement Manager, ProServe Shared Delivery Team Engagement Management
Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. The EM will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership to drive successful AWS‑based implementations, bridge business requirements with technical solutions, and ensure alignment with customer outcomes.
Applying AWS frameworks such as Well‑Architected and the Cloud Adoption Framework, you will distill customer needs into clear technical requirements, decompose complex problems, and make informed trade‑off decisions that consider performance, scalability, security, and business impact. You will validate solutions against business goals, manage technical risks, and maintain relevant AWS certifications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage complex cloud migration and implementation projects.
Leverage AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.
Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitate engineering discussions, and ensure alignment with customer business outcomes.
Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.
Decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions.
Contribute to technical documentation and define documentation standards.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in cloud computing.
5+ years in project management of technical programs.
5+ years of experience working with enterprise customers.
5+ years of experience with customer cloud transformation activities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS experience preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
Strong understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices.
Experience applying AWS frameworks like Well‑Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework.
Proven ability to establish technical credibility with engineering teams and senior technical decision‑makers.
