What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage and develop a sales territory consisting of Independent Agencies, optimizing growth potential
Support Independent Agencies by identifying cross-selling opportunities and providing training on Travelers products
Develop strategic plans for agency assignments to address opportunities and challenges
Maintain strong communication with agency partners to drive results and ensure accountability
Perform additional duties as assigned to support sales objectives
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of three years of sales experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Solid knowledge of Personal Insurance products
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Industry experience preferred but not required
Ability to analyze and influence agency behavior effectively
Adept at multitasking and managing priorities with a large span of control
Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and communication
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new programs
