R0032231It's fun to work at a company where people truly believe in what they are doing!**Job Description:****Position Summary:**The Telecoms Expense & Data Center Manager is a strategic and operational leader responsible for managing telecommunications costs and optimizing data center performance. This hybrid role combines financial oversight with technical infrastructure management to drive cost efficiency, ensure service reliability, and support business continuity.**Key Responsibilities:****Telecom Expense Management*** Lead the organization's telecom expense strategy, focusing on cost avoidance, recovery, and long-term savings.* Analyze telecom invoices and usage data to identify billing errors, overcharges, and unused services.* Negotiate contracts and service agreements to secure favorable terms and reduce total cost of ownership.* Implement and maintain Telecom Expense Management (TEM) platforms to automate invoice processing and reporting.* Develop and maintain a telecom inventory to ensure accurate billing and eliminate redundant services.* Collaborate with Finance and Procurement to align telecom spend with budget forecasts and business goals.* Generate monthly and quarterly reports highlighting savings achieved, cost avoidance actions taken, and optimization opportunities.**Data Center Management*** Oversee the operation and maintenance of data center facilities, ensuring high availability and performance.* Manage capacity planning, hardware lifecycle, and infrastructure upgrades to avoid unplanned expenditures.* Monitor power usage, cooling efficiency, and space utilization to reduce operational costs.* Implement automation and monitoring tools to proactively detect issues and minimize downtime.* Coordinate disaster recovery planning and testing to protect critical assets and reduce risk exposure.* Maintain compliance with industry standards and internal policies for data center operations and security.* Evaluate colocation and cloud alternatives to optimize infrastructure spend and scalability.**Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Finance, or related field.* 5+ years of experience in telecom expense management and/or data center operations.* Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings and operational efficiencies.* Strong analytical skills and experience with TEM platforms and data center monitoring tools.* Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and contract review capabilities.* Effective communicator with the ability to present financial and technical data to stakeholders.**Preferred Skills:*** Certifications such as ITIL, DCIM, or Certified TEM Professional.* Experience with hybrid cloud environments and colocation strategies.* Familiarity with telecom technologies (e.g., SIP, MPLS, SD-WAN) and data center standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, ISO 27001).* Proficiency with **DCTrack** for data center infrastructure management.* Experience using **SolarWinds** for network and system monitoring.If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!**It is Epiq’s policy to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws by making all employment decisions without unlawful regard or consideration of any individual’s race, religion, ethnicity, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expressions, transgender status, sexual and other reproductive health decisions, marital status, age, national origin, genetic information, ancestry, citizenship, physical or mental disability, veteran or family status or any other basis protected by applicable national, federal, state, provincial or local law.
