Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to oversee and manage the operations of our nursing homes across multiple states, with a primary focus on facilities in Ohio. The RDO will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities within the region meet high standards of care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and strategic direction to multiple nursing home facilities across the region.
Ensure each facility operates in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
Work closely with facility administrators to develop and implement operational strategies that enhance resident care and satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
Conduct regular site visits to assess facility operations, staff performance, and resident care.
Oversee and support the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including residents, families, staff, and regulatory agencies.
Provide training and mentorship to facility administrators and department heads.
Lead efforts to achieve and maintain high ratings on state and federal quality measures.
Ensure consistent communication and collaboration between facilities within the region.
Travel extensively within the assigned region to meet operational demands and support facilities.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Regional Director of Operations or similar leadership role in the healthcare or long‑term care industry.
