Sr Principal, LatAm Digital Sales

Overview A senior leader responsible for driving digital sales and digital content strategy across the Americas for Nintendo. The role focuses on partnering with merchants to sell digital advertising and advertising inventory across e‑commerce and branded web properties, while leading cross‑functional teams to accelerate digital transformation and growth.
Responsibilities
Drive digital transformation initiatives and serve as the key driver of digital sales growth across the region.
Partner with internal teams – IT, Finance, Legal, Publisher Relations, eShop and marketing – to create business strategy and execution plans for digital content.
Collaborate with Marketing, Strategy & Planning, Advertising, and Online Marketing to develop marketing plans that drive eShop awareness, visitation and conversion.
Define and ensure operational best practices for all digital initiatives to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Lead the launch and growth strategy for regional digital‑only content and promotions, coordinating with retailer partners and internal stakeholders.
Own the media and merchandising strategy for Nintendo’s retail platforms – e‑shops, brand stores, Nintendo Switch Online subscription services, and POS activation.
Develop and present sales literature, media kits, promotional plans, and contracts to clients and internal partners.
Provide consultative leadership to senior and executive stakeholders, using data analysis and market insights to identify growth opportunities.
Drive the execution of the Acceleration of Digital Adoption initiative across the region.
Manage the full lifecycle of digital sales agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Represent Nintendo in external relationships with merchants, publishers, and partners to secure advertising inventory and digital content deals.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of related experience in digital sales, advertising, or e‑commerce.
Proven track record as a trusted consultative partner to senior executives.
Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to handle ambiguous, complex scenarios.
Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Bilingual skills in Spanish and English (verbal and written).
Experience in a comparable market or country is a plus.
Benefits This position offers a base salary range of $140,900 – $253,600 annually, potential for a semi‑annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
Employment Details Hybrid in Redmond, WA. Regular onsite work following division guidelines is required; fully remote status is available across the continental 48 states. Contract role.
