Position: Activity Assistant Shifts, Time, and Days: Full‑Time, Tuesdays to Saturdays Pay Range: $21.00 – $23.00 (depends on experience)

Activity Assistant Responsibilities

Assist the Activity Director in creating a creative, rewarding social atmosphere with high‑quality activities and events.

Develop, recruit, manage and schedule community volunteers as needed.

Communicate effectively and display tact and friendliness with residents, families, visitors and staff.

Maintain a safe and secure environment following established safety standards.

Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive community vehicles.

Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions across departments.

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: 1 year experience coordinating activities for seniors.

Required: Class C driver’s license (Class B or C with Passenger Endorsement preferred).

Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Pass a criminal background check and health screening.
