Base pay range $158,000.00/yr - $223,000.00/yr
The Wearables team focuses on achieving our mission of building the next computing platform. Our strategic work optimizes the achievement of that goal across the product group and across devices. We are looking for a leader who will be responsible for growing our business and driving execution with key product and business group functions. We are in a unique moment of growing momentum for Wearables, with several vital shifts in our business focus. This high visibility role will be accountable for ensuring our investments have compelling business cases and facilitating cross‑functional leadership decisions on our product and technology portfolio.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive strategies to support the launch of our products
Provide critical support on unplanned high‑priority projects, working through ambiguity to create structure and execution plans in a time‑sensitive environment
Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, challenges, and trends in target markets
Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and patterns
Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders supporting the success of the Wearables business to ensure tight alignment of strategy and execution
Build strategic capabilities (e.g., data‑driven processes, frameworks, analytical tools, etc.) to identify and prioritize business development opportunities and drive the Wearables mission forward
Identify and resolve critical program risks, particularly with an eye toward external factors like industry trends and partners
Lead work across teams to inform annual planning, investment strategy, prioritization, and other ongoing business priorities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, strategy, management consulting, product management, portfolio operations, or a technical field
8+ years of business experience, including experience managing cross‑functional and global teams in the technology, internet, or media industries
Experience working directly with partners and stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C‑suite level
Proven track record of delivering results with large‑scale, cross‑functional projects
Demonstrated experience of bringing a range of perspectives and personalities together
Experience creating structure and execution plans from multiple sources of information in a timeline‑sensitive environment
High tolerance for ambiguity and the demonstrated experience of creating structure and execution plans where there were none while working in a deadline‑focused environment
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in business, law, strategy, management consulting, product management, portfolio operations, or a technical field
