Collaborate with teams to support fast-paced, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you can develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems. What You Will Do: As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), possessing in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in designing, implementing, sustaining and troubleshooting, you will maintain and support RHEL (7,8,9), Windows Servers (2019, 2022), Desktops (10,11), and Virtual OSs on a large-scale enterprise network whose systems are operational 24x7x365. Integrate and partner with customer(s), software developers, security, storage architects, system administrators, network engineers, tools and high-performance computing teams to solve complex infrastructure problems. Ensure compliance with security requirements (DFARS, RMF, NIST Cybersecurity Framework) in partnership with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain compliance requirements. Work full time in a face-paced environment, in an on-site position, inside a DoD closed area. Support efforts both planned and unplanned that may require occasional commitment outside standard work hours. Must be able to travel 25% travel (mostly to our Marlborough, MA office). Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date. 100% on Raytheon on-site position.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires bachelors degree and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or masters degree and 3 years of relevant experience. The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. (US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.) Experience administrating Microsoft Windows OSs and/or RedHat Enterprise Linux OSs.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Strong leadership, teamwork, communication (written and oral), collaboration, and organizational skills. Experience with managing ADDS, DFS, WDS, WSUS, MECM/SCCM, MDT, PXE, PKI, and Kerberos. Experience with Linux and Windows integration tools (Centrify, Samba, SSSD, NIS). Experience with virtualization, VMWare vCenter, vSphere, Horizon, and ESXi and/or other virtual computing methods. Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Perl, Bash, Python, and C Languages). Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF. Strong understanding of networking concepts.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD.
