CVP is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support healthcare transformation initiatives within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA). The Project Manager will serve as the single contractor point of contact (POC) with/for the VHA requests for SME support and any matters related to contractor performance on large‑scale healthcare programs.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Serve as single contractor point of contact for VHA requests for SME support
Manage all matters related to contractor performance and VHA interface
Lead large-scale programs encompassing multiple healthcare transformation projects
Plan, initiate, manage, execute, and close out complex healthcare programs
Support VHA mission objectives through disciplined program management
Coordinate cross-functional project teams and stakeholder communications
Monitor program performance, budgets, and deliverables across multiple projects
Manage program risks and develop mitigation strategies
Facilitate program governance and reporting to VHA leadership
Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university
Experience: Minimum 8 years as a Senior Program Analyst with proven extensive experience in large-scale integrated healthcare systems
Healthcare Focus: Substantive experience with programs focused on Veterans healthcare and outreach (preferred)
VHA Knowledge: Experience in VHA operations essential for successful stakeholder engagement
Leadership Engagement: Demonstrated ability to successfully engage with senior leadership teams
Assessment Skills: Experience assessing strategic project needs and developing comprehensive response strategies
Security: Ability to obtain US Security Public Trust Clearance (Low/NACI level)
Availability: Ability to work without sponsorship in the US indefinitely
Desired Skills
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management experience
Experience supporting large healthcare organizations or federal government agencies
Understanding of program evaluation methodologies and improvement processes
Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for executive-level reporting
Location Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Salary Band $125-135k (depending on experience)
