Job Summary
Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida is actively seeking an experienced
Hematologist
to join our Cancer Medicine Division. This physician will expand the delivery of cutting‑edge therapies for patients with hematological malignancies and support our Cellular Therapy Program. Our state‑of‑the‑art cellular therapy and stem cell transplant unit is under construction at the downtown Baptist Hospital and will open in late 2025.

Your Expertise and Background
Board‑certified or Board‑eligible in Hematology or Medical Oncology with a record of clinical and academic achievement.
Have at least three years of experience in malignant hematology.
Experience in cellular therapy / CAR‑T or stem cell transplant is desired.
Clinical research experience and prior educational activities are desired.
Graduating fellows may be considered if they have demonstrated a serious commitment and training track record in managing complex hematology patients.
Demonstrated commitment to multidisciplinary cancer care.
Fully support the clinical, research and educational missions of our program.
Establish and maintain an active clinical practice.
Career Opportunity
You will be recommended for adjunct academic appointment at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston commensurate with your accomplishments.
You will be considered for leadership opportunities within the hematology program and Cancer Medicine (including roles in programmatic development, research and quality).
Education
Doctor of Medicine (required)
Doctor of Medicine (preferred)
Experience
≥ 3 years of Hematology (and Oncology) experience preferred
License and Certification
Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Hematology (and Oncology).
Unrestricted Florida Medical License.
Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
