Role Description Data Architect (Associate Data Architect II). UST is seeking an experienced professional to design, implement, and manage scalable data architectures and big data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, cloud platforms, and data governance to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable data architectures, data models, schema designs, and database optimizations.
Work with various database management systems (RDBMS, NoSQL) and data warehousing tools (Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift).
Leverage big data frameworks (e.g., Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) for distributed computing and data processing.
Develop and maintain ETL processes using cloud-based data services and tools.
Implement and enforce data governance best practices including data lineage, quality management, and compliance.
Ensure data security through strong understanding of encryption, protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in designing large-scale data systems.
Proficiency in big data frameworks, cloud platforms, and ETL tools.
Strong knowledge of data governance, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
Skills: Spark, Azure, Databricks, ETL.
Compensation and Location Role Location: Georgia Compensation Range: $122,000 - $183,000
Benefits Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching, medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as several Company-paid Employee Only benefits such as basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits.
