The Vice President of Information Technology will lead all aspects of IT across the organization, overseeing the strategy, implementation, and support of enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business systems. This role will guide long‑term IT vision and governance while ensuring scalable, secure, and cost‑effective operations that support the company’s business goals.
As a key member of the leadership team, the VP of IT will work closely with business leaders, executive stakeholders, and partners to ensure alignment of IT priorities with organizational needs. The role will also oversee IT compliance, vendor relationships, project execution, and team development, fostering a service‑oriented culture within the function.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning and execution of global IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
Oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications (including ERP), and end‑user services across all business units and affiliates.
Build and manage an effective IT organization, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance accountability for internal staff and key partners.
Establish and enforce IT governance standards, policies, and security controls.
Own budgeting, procurement, and vendor management processes across all IT domains.
Partner with internal teams to ensure optimal performance and integration of business applications and platforms.
Drive execution of IT projects and transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Manage business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and information security risk mitigation across the enterprise.
Standardize IT processes, infrastructure, and platforms across divisions to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and improve support.
Support acquisition integration and system migrations to bring new businesses into standardized IT environments.
Stay informed on technology trends and emerging risks, advising leadership on appropriate actions to support innovation and resilience.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including executive‑level oversight of infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
Demonstrated success leading IT organizations in multi‑site or multi‑division manufacturing environments.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of cloud and on‑premise infrastructure, networking, identity platforms, and cybersecurity principles.
Experience managing ERP and business application environments (e.g., Infor CSI, Microsoft D365, SAP, or equivalents).
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams, drive complex projects, and manage third‑party vendors and service providers.
Experience with vendor management, project delivery, and digital transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of IT compliance, risk management, and governance frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Ability to synthesize technical data into actionable plans.
Occasional travel may be required.
