Vice President of Sales
CallRail is seeking a Vice President of Sales to report to the Chief Revenue Officer. You will be responsible for overall sales team leadership, strategy and team development, leading to accelerated revenue growth from new customer acquisition and expansion.
What You’ll Do
Hire, coach and develop talent across all functions to achieve growth for employees and CallRail.
Lead the sales teams to acquire, onboard, grow and retain customers.
Accelerate a metrics‑driven sales organization that focuses on customer needs to achieve goals. Develop and implement solution selling strategies to optimize customer impact.
Tightly manage processes to optimize key sales metrics.
Provide coaching to sales managers and teams, develop scorecards to achieve desired outcomes, and identify and replicate best practices across the teams.
Ensure all applicable metrics and processes are in place to measure and manage progress toward goals, and regularly present them to leadership.
Develop, align and refine commission plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
Partner with Revenue Operations to refine the operational plan for sales inclusive of systems, processes and people.
Create a culture of curiosity, discipline, and accountability across the sales organization.
Identify and implement AI solutions to create efficiency in processes, identify growth opportunities, and optimize team performance.
Work in partnership with marketing to define a successful go‑to‑market strategy.
Partner with leadership across sales, marketing, operations, product, customer experience and finance to develop and achieve growth strategies.
Advocate for customer and market needs across our product, design and engineering teams. Influence product strategy and new business opportunities by articulating the needs of customers.
Develop a deep understanding and expertise in the markets you serve to develop strategic opportunities and realize long‑term customer impact and revenue growth. Those markets include marketing agencies, healthcare, legal, home services and real estate.
Develop a deep understanding of CallRail’s platform and solutions to effectively position the problems they solve and the value they bring to agencies and businesses.
Lead a team of Account Managers to develop and expand customers through strong relationships and optimal use of CallRail’s solutions. Develop direct relationships with senior leaders at our largest customer accounts, including attending quarterly business reviews and customer‑facing engagements such as onsite meetings and account development activities as needed.
Provide well‑defined, concise updates to leadership regarding the team’s key initiatives, performance and overall strategy.
Develop a ‘customer‑first’ sales culture that integrates recognition and rewards.
What You’ll Need
10+ years of sales leadership with a track record of consistently achieving results.
SaaS sales experience in a high‑growth environment.
Expertise in working cross‑functionally to develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies.
Executive presence with company and customer leadership.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability and willingness to travel at least 10%.
Proficiency using Salesforce.com and Google Suite.
Can work as part of a team and/or independently.
Knows how to navigate a fast‑paced environment.
BA/BS degree.
Atlanta highly preferred.
