About the Company Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of a dynamic San Diego-based life sciences company specializing in innovative cell‑based technologies. This organization collaborates with academic, pharmaceutical, and clinical partners to deliver high‑quality preclinical research solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform cell culture tasks, including iPSC and embryonic stem cell (ESC) culture and colony picking
Conduct molecular biology experiments such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, and DNA/RNA isolation
Support iPSC reprogramming, gene editing, and differentiation under lead scientist supervision
Maintain accurate data records and assist in preparing project reports
Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and perform routine lab management duties
Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety and aseptic protocols
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, or a related field preferred
0‑3 years of biological lab experience with hands‑on cell culture and aseptic techniques
Proficiency in molecular biology techniques (e.g., PCR, electrophoresis, transfection)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for precise record‑keeping
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for cross‑functional collaboration
