AVIATION FUEL TANKER TRUCK DRIVER JOB (SACRAMENTO, CA) We are looking for local and regional fuel transport drivers to join our small, family‑first company. This full‑time position offers local and regional driving opportunities primarily within 350–400 miles of Sacramento, CA.

Humboldt Pacific LLC is a fuel transport company that safely transports bulk fuel (Jet A, JP8, AVGAS & Kerosene) and other petroleum commodities throughout California, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon. Our focus is on aviation fuels, but we also transport a variety of petroleum products such as Jet Fuel, Renewable Fuels, Marine Gas Oil, Ethanol, Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), Biodiesel, Red Dye Off‑road Diesel, AV Gas, Clear Diesel Fuel, Bunker Fuel, Gasoline, Heating Oils, and bulk oils to commercial and private airports, aviation emergency response, and other facilities.

SUMMARY The Petroleum Product Tanker Driver’s responsibilities include safe product handling, product quality assurance, and product transportation consistent with regulatory compliance and company operating goals. The driver is responsible for the pick‑up and drop‑off of specified liquid or gas, maintains the truck, and follows safe driving regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Transports deliveries in a safe, responsible manner and in accordance with company policy and applicable State & Federal regulations.

Safely loads and unloads deliveries according to the capacity of the load and content description.

Processes and maintains proper delivery authorization and pickup documentation and submits it in a timely manner.

Maintains communication with dispatch regarding any delays or issues during route/shift.

Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company’s image.

Performs a daily DOT pre‑trip and post‑trip inspection checklist, informing maintenance personnel of any issues.

Maintains a daily, legible DOT log book and submits logbooks as required by company policy. Keeps vehicle in a neat and tidy manner.

Reports all accidents/damages/malfunctions immediately to management as per company policy and procedure.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Class A CDL with TWIC, HAZMAT, and Tank Endorsement.

Minimum of 24 months commercial driving experience.

No more than 2 major moving violations within a 3‑year period.

No more than 2 accidents within a 3‑year period.

DOT drug screening required.

No felony convictions.

No DUI/DWI within the last 7 years.

No positive or refused drug or alcohol tests.

Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

Must be 23 years of age or older.

Ability to conduct all operations in a safe manner.

Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full‑time basis without restrictions.

Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties as may be assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must perform repetitive motion activities throughout the day.

Requires getting in and out of the truck frequently.

Must lift and/or move 75 lbs regularly.

Must work 10–12 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Drug and alcohol screening required.

Full background check required.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Must sit for an average of 65–75% of working hours.

Exposure to dusty and noisy conditions.

Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Exposure to chemicals used in the process.

Work weeks may consist of more than 40 hours or shift work. Tanker drivers must also be physically able to load and unload the tanker.
