A well-established and reputable skilled nursing and rehabilitation center is seeking an experienced, dynamic Admissions Director to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, organized, and skilled in managing the admissions process while fostering strong relationships with hospitals, families, and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of the resident admission process, from inquiry to intake. Build and maintain positive relationships with hospitals, physicians, and referral partners. Conduct facility tours and present services to prospective residents and families. Collaborate with nursing, social services, and therapy teams to ensure smooth admissions and transitions. Track admissions data and maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility standards. Support census development initiatives and marketing efforts. Qualifications
Prior admissions or marketing experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting required. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care) preferred. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
