Job Summary The Manager of Commercial Incentivization is responsible for end‑to‑end ownership and management of the company’s sales commission calculation process. This includes calculating and validating commissions, spiffs, and promotional incentives; ensuring data accuracy; assisting with accruals and payroll submissions; and maintaining documentation for compliance and reporting. The role also serves as the first point of contact for all commission‑related matters, ensuring that payouts are accurate, timely, and aligned with company policies.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Own the day‑to‑day commissions process, ensuring accurate and timely calculations of commissions, spiffs, and incentives based on pre‑approved plans.
Prepare monthly preliminary accruals and payroll commission files.
Maintain and validate order and finder fees logs, ensuring accuracy of sales data for commissions calculation.
Reconcile data discrepancies and proactively resolve issues by working with Sales, Finance, and Operations.
Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on all commission‑related inquiries, providing clear and timely resolution.
Project manage dashboards, reports, and analytics to measure effectiveness, ROI, and performance impact of sales compensation.
Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit trails to ensure compliance with internal policies and external requirements.
Establish and maintain key business partnerships outside of area of influence to identify, prioritize and implement changes to improve the overall commission process.
Identify improvements for efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in sales commissions.
Monitor and ensure compliance with Cynosure’s policies and procedures as outlined in various Company policies.
Support additional ad‑hoc projects and corporate objectives that impact commercial compensation and sales goals as required.
Experience with SAP, Sales Force, and Commission tools like Callidus, Xactly, Anaplan or similar is preferred.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required in accounting or related field.
8 to 10 years relevant experience in sales compensation, sales operations or related areas.
Experience with SAP ERP and Salesforce preferred.
Broad understanding and experience with sales compensation, processes and programs.
Demonstrated experience implementing sales compensation programs.
Ability to effectively collaborate across the organization (HR, Sales, Finance) as a valued partner.
Strong financial, analytical, and organizational skills.
Strong bias for action & ability to respectfully challenge current processes.
Strong communication skills.
Physical Demands

Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
