Job Position: DevSecOps Engineer

About the Role Circadence is an award‑winning, privately held, US‑owned business that specializes in cybersecurity training and assessment platforms. Our core area of expertise is the development and management of cyber range capabilities, implementation of policies, processes and tools required to conduct cyber assessments, and cyber workforce development using Project Ares gamified training platform. Circadence is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to support our Project Ares team. You’ll work to maintain and enhance our Azure cloud‑native infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and security operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex operational challenges.
Responsibilities
Manage Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, and resource groups
Scale and optimize Azure resources (quotas, subscriptions, disks)
Automate environment cleanup and lifecycle management
Build and maintain pipelines for deployment, testing, and monitoring
Automate snapshot, backup, and cleanup processes using Terraform and scripting
Troubleshoot build agents and deployment workflows
Implement and renew SSL certificates across environments
Manage secrets, vaults, and service principals
Monitor and respond to security alerts and access issues
Integrate Datadog for logs, metrics, and alerts
Set up synthetic checks and performance dashboards
Configure DNS servers and proxy settings
Resolve network‑related issues across environments
Upgrade and monitor MongoDB and SQL instances
Manage backups and disk usage alerts
Investigate and resolve deployment failures and system outages
Conduct root cause analyses and postmortems
Qualifications
3+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure
Strong experience with Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
Familiarity with Datadog, Hashicorp and Azure Key Vault
SSL/TLS management
Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
Linux system administration
Bonus Skills
Experience with SonarQube, MongoDB, or ActiveMQ
Knowledge of blue/green deployments and multi‑region architecture
Experience with technologies like SALT or Ansible
Experience with AWS
