Program Manager – PMO
FairSquare is looking for a Program Manager – PMO to oversee multiple related projects ensuring successful program delivery from inception to completion.
Compensation & Schedule
Salary: $126,800 - $200,000 plus bonus.

Hours: Monday‑Friday, 8:00‑5:00 (Hybrid, 3 days onsite / 2 days remote).
Location: San Diego, CA.
Reports To: VP, PMO.
Role Summary This Program Manager will lead cross‑functional teams, manage program risks and budgets, and provide clear direction to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
Objectives
Lead multiple project teams to achieve overall program goals and benefits.
Manage program budgets, timelines, and resources for maximum ROI.
Strategize, implement, and maintain initiatives aligned with FairSquare’s objectives.
Maintain standards of satisfaction, quality, and efficiency across all projects.
Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Oversight
Develop comprehensive program plans including scope, deliverables, milestones, budgets, and success metrics.
Coordinate multiple project teams to meet program goals on time and within budget.
Monitor progress, resolve inter‑project dependencies, and mitigate program‑level risks.
Align projects with business priorities and report progress to PMO leadership.
Team & People Management
Directly manage Business Analysts and Delivery Managers, fostering professional development and high performance.
Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Execution & Delivery Management
Collaborate with project managers and sponsors to define scope, goals, and deliverables.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships across projects.
Establish success criteria and ensure delivery outcomes meet or exceed quality standards.
Implement and uphold PMO methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
Serve as primary point of contact for program stakeholders, including executives and sponsors.
Deliver clear, concise program updates, performance reports, and risk assessments.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in project and program management, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
Proven experience leading and developing teams (Business Analysts, Delivery Managers, or equivalent roles).
Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or MBA.
PMP, PgMP, or MSP certification.
Experience in a PMO environment with cross‑functional or enterprise‑level programs.
Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
