Senior Marketing Analyst

role supports data analytics functions for sales, strategic and marketing planning, product development, and customer needs, aiming to facilitate same‑store sales growth.

Overall Purpose and Objective This position is responsible for data analytics functions that support sales, strategic and marketing planning, product development, and Brightstar customer needs with the goal of facilitating same store sales growth. These functions include historical market and lottery game analyses and recommendations, retailer analyses, promotional analyses, market segmentation, marketing planning, and customer consultation on new products and games. In addition to customer‑facing activities, this position will also assist group leadership with ongoing review of the data strategy of the Sales Development team, train stakeholders to access data and produce data visualizations, and improve and streamline data analytics across the group.

Responsibilities

Designs and oversees the execution of complex retail and product analyses for use in modeling sales growth opportunity, optimal product distribution and placement, and market segmentation.

Assists Sales Development management to develop strategic business and product recommendations based on product performance data, including instant portfolio optimization and recommendations.

Evaluates current data utilization process and provides recommendations for improvement.

Analyzes current and prospective lottery retailer performance, using multiple data sources to tell the story.

Participates in shaping the future data gathering and presentation routines.

Interfaces directly with other internal departments, and site personnel to develop and present analyses, results, forecasts, and recommendations.

Conducts internal and user training, coaching, and mentoring on lottery data and strategy.

Develops new analytics using Brightstar’s Lottery Data Cloud platform.

Requirements

BA or BS in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

Excel and PowerPoint expertise is a must.

SQL skills required.

Tableau experience required.

Strong abilities in statistical and data analysis.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize work and manage multiple deadlines.

Must maintain a high sense of ownership, be self‑motivated with initiative, and be able to effectively manage account analyses and determine business opportunities.

Ability to integrate with cross‑functional teams and lead where necessary with limited supervision.

Internal and external presentation skills, both at corporate and US sites.

Familiarity with Brightstar and industry databases, data, and applications (SAP, Lottery Data Cloud, Snowflake, Tableau, LaFleurs, NASPL).

Compensation The estimated starting salary range is $74,961 - $164,800.
