Function/Duties of Position The Department of Pediatrics is recruiting for a Pediatric Immunologist/Allergist.
Clinical Activities
Provide care to pediatric patients who require expertise and treatment for diseases arising from or complicated by allergies or immunological diseases.
Provide leadership and subject matter expert to the Department of Pediatrics, Doernbecher Hospital and the surrounding community of pediatricians in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Provide both inpatient and outpatient consultation and ongoing care for patients requiring monitoring.
Work closely with the bone marrow transplant program, pulmonology, critical care, infectious diseases and adult allergy and immunology.
Scholarly Activities
Participate in research, grant supported work, abstracts, academic papers and presentations in disciplines related to their field of expertise.
Educate learners and potentially contribute to program and curriculum development.
Education
Provide clinical education to fellows, residents, and medical students.
Administrative Activities
Participate in faculty meetings at the division and department level.
Aid the division head and department chair in providing direction to the division and the department both day-to-day and as part of ongoing strategic planning.
Other Activities
Serve on OHSU committees and other activities as directed by the department chair or division head to further division, department, or OHSU goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications
Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Immunology and Allergy.
